There are 2 restaurants in the village one is within easy walking distance from Casa Colomba and is a delightful restaurant with the opportunity to dine alfresco. The restaurant serves typical Tuscan cuisine with grilled meat and porcini mushrooms being their speciality.

On the outskirts of Vicopisano slightly up a hill is another lovely restaurant with a wonderful terrace overlooking the hills and village, again the cuisine is very local with a variety of pasta’s meats, fish and vegetarian options.

Another 3 restaurants lie on the outskirts of the village including a pizzeria.

Well worth a visit is the nearby village of Buti which is famous for its restaurants which boasts 15 at last count. Italians come from all over Tuscany to visit this tiny village famous for good food at local prices. Buti is just a short drive away (5 minutes); a local transfer can be arranged for those who prefer not to drive.
